In January 2026, two engineering college friends — Sandeep Bawalia from Panipat and Sandeep Singh from Jind, India — were discussing a problem they both experienced in their daily lives: managing important documents.
Like many people, they were storing documents across multiple locations — email attachments, local folders, cloud drives, and physical copies. Finding the right document when needed often became frustrating.
Even more challenging was the lack of a secure and simple way to share important documents with others when required. They realised that despite the number of digital tools available, there was still no simple and secure platform designed specifically to organise, protect, and share personal documents in one place.
That conversation led to the idea behind SamVault.
